"Gostun" Border Crossing

The border crossing between Serbia and Montenegro in Gostun will soon receive European-style facilities and equipment. In the area between the current police-customs checkpoint and the "Lux" motel in Gostun, according to the project, they will build seven entrance-exit lanes for passenger and bus traffic, four lanes for trucks, two each at the entrance and exit. In addition, the crossing will have truck scales both at the entrance and at the exit, as well as a cargo terminal with all the accompanying facilities. Under the main canopy there will be control cabins, a facility with rooms for the work of employees of all state services of the Customs Administration, Border Police, Phytosanitary and Veterinary Inspection. The project also envisages space intended for supporting services, that is, companies for the provision of freight forwarding services. The Republic's budget provides funds for financing the construction of a new border crossing in the amount of about 770 million dinars, and the works should be completed by the end of 2020.
